Re: Installing optional DevArt UniDAC data provider... Skipped.

Run RAD Studio, open UniDAC support package. It is in ReportWorkshop\DataProvides\Source folder. Package names are RW_Uni_*.dproj. For example, for Delphi 10.2, the package name is RW_Uni_D10_2.dproj. Open it and compile. Post error messages in this topic.

Re: Hyperlinks not saved

There is still a possibility of using StyleTemplates and standard editor UI for changing text and paragraph attributes, without saving style collections in documents, see my answer in http://www.trichview.com/forums/viewtop ... 911#p33945

Re: How to mix default styles with user custom styles?

Actually, there is a possibility to use StyleTemplates and all the standard editor UI, and still not saving TextStyles, ParaStyles and ListStyles in RVF. As I understand, in your previous solution, you used common collections of styles for all documents, and store them outside RVF documents. You can...

Re: Hyperlinks not saved

When you call ApplyStyleTemplates (and also ApplyStyleConversion and ApplyParaStyleConversion), new styles may be added. If you do not save them in RVF, they will be lost. So I suggest to include rvfoSaveTextStyles and rvfoSaveParaStyles in RVFOptions, and change ReadMode properties back to sInsertM...

Re: How to convert list markers to plain text

You can suppress saving certain items using OnSaveItemToFile event.
Check for SaveFormat = rvsfText, assign OutStr := '' and DoDefault := False.

Re: How to convert list markers to plain text

I am glad you solved the problem. Please note that GetSelText calls SaveTextToStream inside, with the parameter TextOnly. With this parameter, a text representations of non-text items are not saved (except for tables and items inherited from label-item, such as footnotes and endnotes). If you need a...

Re: How to mix default styles with user custom styles?

I am not sure that I understand the problem. RVFOptions affect only saving and loading. If you want to save ListStyles, you must include rvfoSaveParaStyles. If you want to save StyleTemplates, you must include both rvfoSaveTextStyles and rvfoSaveParaStyles. If you want to modify StyleTemplates and a...

Re: Exported docx lost the page number

This page number (shown by assigning SRV.ViewProperty. PageNoVisible =True) cannot be saved to files. Actually, we should hide it in our ActionTest demos... To insert the proper page number, activate the header or footer editing (by double clicking the header/footer area or by commands on the toolba...

Re: Adjust the text and picture vertical alignment whenRVF Export Docx

I am not sure how this option works (is it possible to assign it in MS Word UI?). But as I can see, this is a paragraph, not object property, so it cannot be used to represent image alignment.

Re: Save as docx lost the header and footer(TRichview17/SRichview8)

I confirm this problem. It will be fixed in the next update. Quick fix: Open RichView.pas, find all checks for RTFReaderAssigned and remove them. I.e. search for the substring "RTFReaderAssigned and" and remove it (3 times). Actually, now you can remove function RTFReaderAssigned: Boolean from TCust...

Re: RichViewEdit cannot display border around text

Yes, \box keyword is not supported, only \brdrt \brdrb \brdrl \brdrr.
I'll add \box support in the next update.

PS: dotted paragraph borders are not supported yet. Supported border types: http://www.trichview.com/help/idh_type_ ... style.html

Re: Save as docx lost the header and footer(TRichview17/SRichview8)

Can you reproduce this problem in our demos? For example, I run ScaleRichView\Demos\ActionTestTabs\ActionTestUni.dproj. When it starts, it loads a file with a normal header. I saved it as DocX, and the header is there. I also loaded an RTF file containing all 6 possible headers and footers, and it w...

Re: Problems with D-Link DCS-2132LB camera

You can test your camera with our Demos\Cameras\MediaTest_Delphi demo. In addition from choosing the camera from the list, it allows to enter the camera parameters in the field. You can see fields for user name and password. RVMedia does not display a dialog for entering them, you must specify them ...
