Re: How to do not save control background color as text background for TcxDBTRichViewEdit, TcxRichViewEdit

TRichView does not support loading a background color from RTF yet. Actually, RTF format does not allow saving a background color. There is a possibility to save a drawing object: a colored rectangle that has a page size. TRichView saves it to RTF, so if you load this RTF in MS Word, you will see a ...

[Demo] How to use DocObjects

TRichView. DocObjects - a collection of objects that can be stored in RVF documents (in addition to strings stored in DocProperties and properties stored in DocParameters). TRichView itself uses DocObjects to store: 1) common information about equations (such as a default font name) 2) in Report Wor...

Re: Now Getting Runtime Error 236 on Delphi Start

Again, the most probable reason of the error is a package mismatch. The first thing to check: do you have other packages that use TRichView packages. If yes, these packages must be uninstalled or recompiled. The second thing to check: did you modify/update other third-party components that have inte...

Re: Retry a connect (Search) after the initial attempts fail

From your description, it looks like the problem is on the camera side. If you would say that one restart always solved the problem, it would be possible that the problem is on RVMedia side. But 4-5 restarts make me think that the matter is not in restarts. Probably, the remote camera does not accep...

Re: TRichview and Lazarus 1.8.4 CRVData not found

So you have the same version... Sorry, I do not know why Lazarus finds that checksum of LCL units are different in your and my copies of Lazarus. I can only imagine that you might installed some patches of third-party libraries that modified LCL code. The full version is distributed with the source ...

Re: Retry a connect (Search) after the initial attempts fail

TRVCamera has property allowing to increase timeout limit while searching.
They are experimental, so we did not document them.

SearchHTTPTimeOut, SearchRTSPTimeOut, MJPEGTimeOut. You can try set them to "long" or "huge".

Re: Retry a connect (Search) after the initial attempts fail

Are you sure that the application restart affect results?
If SearchCamera does not find a camera that works, this means that the connection is too unreliable, the camera does not respond for too long.

It sends HTML email using Indy. It processes OnSaveImageImage2 event. This event occurs when saving to HTML. In this event, instead of saving images to files, it collects them in memory, in a collection.

Re: TRichview and Lazarus 1.8.4 CRVData not found

I think it means that your version of Lazarus / FPC is not exactly the same as it was used to compile the trial version. Check the Lazarus About box (menu Help | About Lazarus). The trial was compiled with: Version #: 1.8.4 Date: 2018-07-28 FPC version: 3.0.4 SVN Revision: 57972 Or maybe you applied...

This error occurs because you use wrong types for some parameters. The types of var-parameters must be exactly the same as declared.

Re: How to process html Heading (H1, H2 etc) in the editor

The corresponding property is OutlineLevel of paragraph style.

In RichViewActions, you can edit this property for the selected paragraph in the paragraph dialog (page "Advanced", combo box "outline level")

Re: TRichview and Lazarus 1.8.4 CRVData not found

It's ok that the package manager shows unit names as a strikethrough text: this is not an error, this means that source code is not available. But there are compiled files: - for 32-bit Lazarus, they are in <TRichView Dir>TRichView\Source\lib\i386-win32\ - for 64-bit Lazarus, they are in <TRichView ...
