Re: Caret not exists in footnote area (RVNote)

I confirm the problem. It looks like it is related to our last modification related to the caret size.
We will try to fix it ASAP

Re: Page breaks in HTML

If you use RichViewActions, you can use TRvHtmlViewImporter without writing any code (some code is needed only to download external CSS files, it is described in this topic: http://www.trichview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8784 , but it is available only for registered users). Without RichViewAct...

Re: IDEInstall.exe don't support delphi tokyo update 1

This installer supports RAD Studio 10.2.

Can you check your Registry?
(type "regedit" in Windows search box to find and run the Registry editor)

Do you have the key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Embarcadero\BDS\19.0\Personalities ?
Do you have "BCB" and "Delphi.Win32" listed there?

Re: Page breaks in HTML

TRvHtmlViewImporter does not read page break properties from HTML. I checked, it looks like THTMLViewer supports them, so import is possible. I'll try to implement it in one of future updates. I do not understand your question about headers and footers. Do you save them as separate HTML documents? I...

Re: Are you interested in Lazarus version of TRichView?

We just released a major update, and now I want to stop adding new features and concentrate on porting. Lazarus for Windows will be first, because it seems to be the simplest conversion. (But I want to make some preliminary steps before porting. The main of them - to remove ANSI text processing wher...

Re: Trichview Delphi Trial fails to install

These errors are quite strange, the system Delphi package "vcl" is called "always-build" in the first message, and "never-build" in the second message. Maybe you have a second, patched version of system Delphi packages? But the most probably, you have incorrect Delphi library path (menu Environment ...

Re: [How to] How to use PNG and GIF images in TRichView

This information is useful for users of Delphi 2007 and older. New versions of Delphi have a built-in TPngImage class, it is supported by TRichView automatically. Once again about using TPngObject. Information in the first post of this topic describes all necessary steps except for allowing high-qua...

TRichView 17.1, ScaleRichView 8.1

We've released a minor update. TRichView 17.1, RichViewActions 7.0.2, ScaleRichView 8.1 This update is concentrated on the caret in editors. Since this version, the caret has thickness defined in the system ("Ease of access" of the Settings app / Control Panel). This change is especially noticeable ...

Re: RvHtmlImporter loads html without any style

Yes, this is a very basic HTML importer, it does not support CSS (except for files saved by TRichView itself). I highly recommend using TrvHtmlViewImporter instead.

Re: Text and Image Drag&Drop...

If you drop a single image, IE provides it as a reference to a file (in its cache), so TRichView can easily read it. If you drop a page fragment containing text and pictures, IE provides it as plain text, RTF, and HTML. By default, TRichViewEdit reads it as RTF. This RTF contains references to pictu...

Re: Loading RTF Text needs much time

It depends on RTF file. Some RTF files may be loaded even slower. It's take long to load such RTF files in MS Word as well (MS Word displays first pages before the complete loading, which can take long).
You can send me this RTF file for testing, email is richviewgmailcom.
