Constant disconnects from the server

Hi,

I am using the conference demo and connects to the server app which is hosted on a remote server. I'm having trouble with the receive often disconnecting. The only thing I have added is a timer to check some things on a regular basis, this runs every minute. I want to know if using a timer will cause this? If not, what are possible causes for this to happen? FYI my connection to the server is stable.

Does it disconnect if you disable this timer?

It does but less frequently. The timer was doing an API call which at times too some time to respond, this seems to have been biggest reason for the disconnects. I do, however, still experience it and would like to know if there's anything common that may cause it.

I've seen disconnects. In one session one client (identical to the others but with a unique identity) refused to connect.

Changing the audio or video settings on the sender can cause a disconnect if another client is listening.

Inactivity will cause a disconnect - but I need to explore this further.
