Well, these "linear" coordinates of caret (SelStart, SelLength) are not

native to RichView.

RichView uses two values to define a position of caret (see

GetSelectionBounds and SetSelectionBounds). The case of tables is more

complex.

Of course, coordinates can be converted to "linear" and back (I can show how

to do it, if you want). Conversion will not be very efficient, though.
