Are you sure you exported it as WordDoc?

I have Word2000 installed, but I cannot find an export converter with

"Word97" filter, but I can find such import converter.

May be you mixed up filters for import and export converters, and this file

was saved with some export converter having the same index in filters as

"Word97" import converter (it may be any converter_?
