Include rvpaoNoWrap in Options of paragraph style which is used for cells.

And remove  table.MergeCells(1,0,2,1,False) from my code.

thank you for your quick response!

i tried the example you sent me but it didn't quite work out the way i

expected..

here is a pic of what i am trying to do:

here is what your example code did (TRichview)

you will notice in what i am trying to achieve that the left column is only

as

big as the largest item ("Row 2 long sentence").

i hope this is a little clearer..
