Anyone tried to use tRichViewEdit as wysiwyag-wiki-engine ?

hi All,

maybe it's a weird idea,
but after setting up 5 wiki sites the last weeks,
I'm totally in love with them.
I've both used normal wikis as well as tiddly wiki.

Now I'm wondering if I could use tRichViewEdit
as a local wiki (tiddly wiki) ?

Anyone else played with this idea ?

I see, it was just a try, maybe it had given you a hint. Maybe a new hint: On those printer/printerdrivers where the problems occure, some other strange phenomena happens continously: colored text is not printed has that something to do with the black or missing images, or is that a totally other pr...

I'm struggling already a long time with this problem, and it just happens on some printers with some drivers, not often, but frequently enough to say that's a weird bug. Sergey, I came along this message in a newsgroup http://www.scalabium.com/faq/dct0090.htm could that have anything todo with this ...

I don't think SynEdit is dead,
but maybe it's (almost) "finished" ;-)
The last stable build is from october 2005.

There's a project derived form SynEdit,
to implement code folding: Mystix

And if that's not enough you should take a look at Scintilla.

thanks very much Sergey, your example helped me very quickly to identify the problem, after porting all my code to your example, the problem arised, then I saw I had made a stupid mistake, I did add rvtoHideGridLines !! Sorry for bothering you, but I really have stared several evenings at this probl...

thanks, Indeed when saving during resize, it jumps back to the old size, which could be acceptable. But the real problem is during moving an image, (ofcourse this could be caused by implementation), things that happen to the picture which is moving: - keeps the size of the picture moved - content of...

busy flag ??

hi Sergey, i've an automatic saving of my RVE at regular intervals To test how it's working, I set the interval to 5 seconds. When moving resizing or moving pictures, I sometimes get weird effects. So I guess I need some kind of flag to suspend the auto-save timer, when busy in the RVE. I don't know...

addpicture, with filename

hi Sergey, I'm still struggling with conversion of programs build on old versions of RV to the new(er) version. I want to ADD a picture in a RVE and assign a filename (used in html-export) to it. I use AddPictureEx(Name, .... now I suppossed that Name is the filename, the help file says nothing abou...

thanks Sergey, but I don't get it. I've a table in a RVE, and a radiogroup that sets the linewidth by it's itemindex, like the code below RVEx.BeginItemModify(ItemNo, Data); table.BorderWidth:=radiogroup.ItemIndex; // table.CellBorderWidth:=radiogroup.itemindex; RVEx.EndItemModify(ItemNo, Data); RVE...

table, with zero linewidth

If I insert a table with zero linewidth, (calling RVE.format afterwards), I don't see any (dotted) lines in my editor. After closing and reopening the document, the zero linewidths are beautiful displayed as dotted lines in RVE. I probably set some property wrong, but cann't figure out which. Any ex...

Correction:

everywhere where "TCustomRichViewEdit(Sender)" is used,
this should be replaced by "RVData",
otherwise it goes wrong if images are in tables.

well the question marks were to indicate, why it sometimes works, and why sometimes doesn't work, or in other words the RSS feeds are not stable. In the meanwhile I've collected over 50 RSS feeds, which are all stable, so I guess Mozilla + Sage is working correctly ;-) btw any chance, the FAQ RSS-fe...
