Caret placement on Android vs iOS

Using your Editor2 as an example, if I deploy it to Android, I can tap on a word and the caret is placed within the word where I tapped. However, on iOS it places the caret either at the start or end of the word I tapped on, depending on which side portion of the word I tapped on. I don't know if that is a good thing or not, but certainly inconsistent.
