Thanks Yernar.  I have set Parent and Visible

    rv.Parent := Application.MainForm;

    rv.Visible := True;

but I still get an AV when I try to load an RTF file.  Can you elaborate

on 'etc' or direct me to some place that describes how to dynamically create

a TRichView component?
