RV uses a standard Windows caret.

As far as I know, it is always drawn with inverted color, and there is no

way to change it.

It's possible to assign any bitmap (including color bitmaps) as a caret for

window. It's a fancy effect, but this bitmap cannot be stretched to show

character height, so this feature has a little use in rich editors.
