Change TextStyle on Paragraph

I would like to change the TextStyle on a whole paragraph. Saying

RichViewEdit1->ApplyTextStyle(text_combo->ItemIndex)

just changes the TextStyle for the text that's entered afterwards, but the

text already in the paragraph is not changed.
