Use GetCurrentItemEx method.

See an example in Demos\Delphi\Editors\Editor 1\

If the caret is in cell, GetCurrentItem (without "Ex") returns the item inside

cell. Each cell has its own items, and they are not included in RichViewEdit's

main item range.
