Preventing selection

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to prevent a user from selecting multiple

cells in a table simultaneously. That is, users can select text in one given

cell, but they cannot extend it to other cells. I need this because I have

to store user selections and I'm using RVLinear, which always gives a selection

of zero length when the selection extends across two or more cells.

Is there any way to solve this?
