Hi,

I am still in doubts about spans.

Actually, <SPAN> does absolutely nothing. It just allows to apply some

properties using CSS.

So, the code

<P><SPAN class=...><HR></SPAN></P>

and

<P><HR></P>

will be shown absolutely equal in browsers.
